KENNEWICK, Wash-- A rollover accident near the Blue Bridge blocked traffic heading towards Richland and drivers coming from Columbia Dr.

Troopers say, Connie Daniel a 69-year old Kennewick woman hit the guardrail getting on SR 240 from Columbia Dr.

She then over corrected and crossed both lanes of traffic hitting the guardrail on the other side. Daniel's Lincoln Towncar then flipped over the dirt embankment and landed upside down.

Troopers say she appears to have head and neck injuries, but nothing life threatening.

"We had numerous collisions in this area, our problem this time of day is usually on the Blue Bridge. We've had multiple collisions south bound on the Blue Bridge and also we've had several near miss collisions on this overpass as a result of this collision here," said Brian Bond, Washington State Patrol.

Daniel was wearing a seatbelt, but was hanging upside down for a while until medics used the jaws of life to get her out of her car.
