KENNEWICK, Wash. -- If you're looking for a new way to tap into your artistic side, a downtown Kennewick store may have just the thing.
Fantome Glass is offering glassblowing classes. Their owner, Chris Jones, says they have students ranging in age from 18 to 65. Glassblowing involves heating glass under a flame (at temperatures higher than 3,000 degrees) then shaping it.
Jones says now is a great time to get into glassblowing.
"It's definitely something that's coming back. It's getting more popular. They're coming out with new colors, new techniques".
You can take a two-hour class at Fantome for $100. They're located at 120 W. 1st Ave. in downtown Kennewick.
