King County Prosecutor to Witness Execution in Walla Walla
WALLA WALLA, Wash-- After his last meal Brown will be moved into the execution chamber at the Penitentiary in Walla Walla minutes before midnight Friday morning and I.V.'s will be placed in both of his arms.
At that point witnesses will also be moved into the viewing room. Brown will be asked to give his last words and then lethal drugs will be injected.
One witness that will be attending is Dan Satterberg, the King County Prosecutor.
"The crime that he committed against Holly Washa, 36 hours of sadistic torture, interrupted only by making a phone call and arranging a date with his next victim in California. I think it's reserved for the worst of the worst and I think Cal Brown clearly fits that definition," said Satterberg.
Satterberg says his best argument for the death penalty is punishment for an unforgivable crime.
