Weather Authority Update for Thursday, May 23rd @ 4:30 am
Good morning!
The low pressure system that continues to sit over the Pacific Northwest will keep the region cooler than normal with the (slight) chance for more low elevation rain showers.
The skies will rotate from mostly cloudy to partly cloudy and then back to mostly cloudy later tonight. Daytime highs will SLOWLY begin to improve, back to the mid to low 60s, upper 50s.
The winds will be a bit calmer but still light from 0 to 10 miles per hour.
We'll run a slight chance for showers today, but the eastern slopes of the Cascades may see some thundershowers this afternoon that may continue into the evening. A better chance to see more rain will arrive tomorrow but that's when this storm should begin to push off to the east.
Only a few more days of this! Hang on!
