Weather Authority Update for Thursday, June 20th @ 4:30 am
Good morning!
The low pressure system that has kept us cloudy and wet over the past few days now sits over the Idaho panhandle. Bands of showers will sweep across the region this morning and again heading into the afternoon and evening.
The day will start out breezy between 10 and 20 miles per hour with gusting winds close to 25-35 mph too. The winds will calm down slightly this afternoon but should remain slightly breezy into the evening.
Daytime highs will begin to warm up, but regional warming will be very spotty today with most spots in the low 70s, upper 60s. A few spots will reach the mid 70s today, mainly close to the Tri-Cities and Hanford area.
Only one day until Summer!
