Weather Authority Forecast for Tuesday, July 22nd @ 6:00 a.m.

Good Evening!

A few showers and thunderstorms have been moving through the Northwest today from the trough of low pressure over us. Some of the storms have been packing precipitation,  lightning and gusty winds.

A Red Flag Warning went into effect for the region today at 11:00 a.m., and will last through Wednesday evening. We're looking at the chance for thunderstorms later this evening into tomorrow.

Wednesday, the low pressure system continues to push through. There's an even greater chance for thunderstorms on Wednesday across the entire region, with measurable amounts of rain. Winds are also expected to become gusty.

By Thursday, high pressure moves back into the area, allowing for mostly fair skies and warm temperatures just in time for boat races.

Be safe & have a Great Evening!

Tim
