Guillermo Motta joined the NBC Right Now team in December 2018. Born and raised in Guatemala City, Guillermo graduated from Washington State University in 2018 with a bachelors in broadcast journalism. He’s bilingual in Spanish and English.
In 2016, Guillermo worked at the Copa America Centenario/Seattle venue. He assisted all the Spanish-speaking journalists in the press box during the 3 games hosted at the Century Link Arena. He also had the opportunity to translate questions to Lionel Messi and Sergio Agüero.
While at Washington State, Guillermo worked for PAC 12 Networks as a runner and PA for 2 years. There, he gained experience working for live-broadcast games.
Guillermo also worked for ESPN. He worked as a runner for multiple live-broadcast games for College Football and he even worked at College Gameday when it was in Pullman.
He is an aspiring reporter and loves watching and playing sports.
