Hundreds Pack CBC for 29th Annual Career Expo

PASCO, Wash. -- Hundreds of students and job seekers flooded the Columbia Basin College Campus Thursday for the 29th Annual Career Expo. More than 60 companies set up booths, collected resumes, and even conducted some onsite interviews.

Thursday morning, 20 students did a one-minute live resume presentation before all the employers, and then talked with them one on one.

"It kind of helps you bypass the job search. You know putting in the application, waiting to hear back, waiting for an interview. Instead, you're directly right there and they can say ok, this is exactly who I'm looking for and what I want," said CBC student Zach King.

Many companies were also looking to network with future employees and potential interns.
