KENNEWICK, WA - SmartHub, an online service for customers, is now available for Benton PUD customers. SmartHub provides customers the ability to manage their account, make payments, sign up for email and text alerts, track usage and more using their personal computer, tablet or smart phone.
Benton PUD customers will be able to enroll in SmartHub when they receive their new bill in March. To enroll, Benton PUD customers will need to use their new account number on their March bill.
“We are very excited to be able to offer SmartHub to our customers. It’s convenient and easy to use. We encourage our customers to get online and check it out,” said Paula Ball, Director of Customer Programs and Services. “During this transition period, we understand when there is a change, customers may prefer some assistance. Customers welcomed to call, email or stop by if they have any questions. Or if a customer prefers, we can set up an appointment.”
To help customers enroll in the new system, Benton PUD will be offering the following services:
- Drop by the Kennewick or Prosser offices during normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Customer Service Representative can assist customers in enrollment and answer questions.
- Open houses will be held at both offices:
Wednesday, March 29th – 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, April 4th – 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Benton PUD locations: 2721 W. 10th, Kennewick and 250 N. Gap Road, Prosser
- One-on-one personal assistance by appointment both Kennewick and Prosser offices. To schedule an appointment, customers can call Benton PUD Customer Service at 509.582.2175 in Kennewick or 509.586.1841 in Prosser.

To encourage customers to try SmartHub, Benton PUD is offering a one-time $5 credit (for a limited time) to customers who enroll in SmartHub and sign-up for Paperless billing.
