PASCO, Wash - Carrying a 3-0 lead into the seventh inning, the Tri-City Dust Devils were unable to finish off the Yakima Bears Saturday and fell 5-3.  The loss drops the Dust Devils to two and a half games behind Spokane, who regained the Northwest League East Division lead with a 3-0 win over Boise Saturday.

The loss spoiled a stellar pitching effort by starting pitcher Connor Graham, who threw three scoreless innings in his first start of the year, and reliever Joey Williamson, who also threw three scoreless innings and struck out five.  The decisive runs were scored in the top of the eighth, as Yakima scored four runs with two outs to turn a 3-1 deficit into a 5-3 lead.

With two hits, Phillip Cuadrado was the only Dust Devil with a multi-hit game.  Relief pitcher Agustin Arias (1-2) took the loss after giving up two runs in 1 2/3 innings pitched.  Scott Maine (1-0) earned the win for Yakima with a perfect inning of relief.  Billy Spottiswood earned his seventh save of the year.
