PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Last year's run to the Sweet 16 hasn't
changed the story line much at Washington State.
The Cougars still consider themselves underdogs, despite
back-to-back 26-win seasons.
Gone to graduation is the program-changing class of Kyle Weaver,
Derrick Low and Robbie Cowgill, who turned the Cougars from
laughing stocks to title contenders in the Pacific-10.
As practice started last weekend, Bennett welcomed back Taylor
Rochestie and center Aron Baynes, plus key reserves Daven
Harmeling, Caleb Forrest and Nikola Koprivica. The Cougars also
have seven true freshmen, a huge number.
