Too much screen time could lead to suicidal thoughts in teen girls, study shows

CANADA - Too much screen time may be affecting normal childhood development.

Canadian researchers looked at 2,400 kids when they were two and three years old.

Those who spent much more time staring at the TV, tablets or a computer had lower scores on developmental screenings a few years later.

The American Academy of Pediatrics suggests no more than one hour of screen time for kids between two and five years old.

And screen time should be limited to video chatting for babies and toddlers.
