KENNEWICK, Wash. - Graffiti defaces buildings and homes throughout the Tri-Cities. Crime Stoppers wants to put a stop to it. Program leaders are now offering a new incentive to get rid of the graffiti.

Tri-City Crime Stoppers want to arrest people behind the graffiti. They're asking for your help, and they don't care if you're part of the problem. They're willing to make your tip worth your while.

It's called "Tag a Tagger". If you see graffiti around your neighborhood and think you know who the culprit is Crime Stoppers is willing to pay you up to $1,000.

All you have to do is go the Crime Stoppers website and submit an anonymous tip. If it leads to an arrest, you could be up to $1,000 dollars richer.

Police hope the offer tickles criminals who know, right in the money bone.

"Criminals are greedy, and they'll rat out their own mother sometimes. Our hope is rival gangs, rival taggers will rat out somebody else," said Sgt. Ken Lattin, Kennewick Police Department.
