KENNEWICK, Wash. - Dozens of people showed up Friday night for the annual Miss Tri-Cities Fashion show.
The 'Steppin Out' show was held at the Columbia Center Mall. The goal is to get the community ready for this years pageant, where the winner gets a $25,000 scholarship. The 38-contestants modeled off this summer's fashions. All of the clothes were donated by various stores in the mall.
"Our program is part of the Miss America program and Miss America is the largest provider of scholarship money and so we are very thrilled this year to offer $25,000," said Dot Stewart, Executive Director for the Miss Tri-Cities Scholarship Program.
The 2011 pageant will take place July 22nd and July 23rd at Kennewick High School.
