RICHLAND, Wash. - There is a lot of police activity in Richland at the intersection of Gage Blvd. and Peach Tree Lane. Officers say a woman in a nearby apartment building called 911 saying her boyfriend was holding a knife to her throat. The woman apparently got out of the apartment but hasn't been found yet. Police are also trying to make contact with the boyfriend who they say has an extensive criminal history. Officers have blocked some streets and are asking drivers to avoid the area. They're also asking neighbors in the immediate area to stay inside.
