Red Cross Looking for Volunteers to Help Victims of Apartment Fire

KENNEWICK, Wash--  The Red Cross is looking for volunteers to help the victims of Friday night's fire.

They tell us 15 families were affected by the blaze, and roughly half of those have asked the Red Cross for help.  Leaders of the Red Cross tell us they're asking for any community support they can find.

"What are their needs right now?" asks Charles Rushing of the Red Cross.  "Do they need a place to stay? Do they need clothes?  Some of the apartments are completely gone.  There's nothing in them but studs.  They need everything so the things you and I take for granted--getting up, taking a shower, getting dressed, having clean clothes--they don't have any of that."

If you would to like to help, contact your local red cross.
