Ellensburg, Wash.,- A program at Central Washington University called the Women's Aviation Construction Engineering and Science is encouraging girls ages 12 to 16 to work in those fields.

The program is in its third year now and it teaches different aspects of science through a variety of hands-on activities such as flying airplanes and operating construction equipment.
